For the second night of the Summer Sixteen Tour in Chicago, Drake surprised the crowd with the city’s own Kanye West.
After arriving in Chicago, Ye was also seen ordering food at Harold’s Chicken Shack in the West Loop before heading to the show.
The crowd at the Summer Sixteen concert awaited the arrival of Kanye which wouldn’t come until the end of the night. Drake performed his usual part “Pop Style” before Kanye arose from the middle of the stage causing a frenzy.
Kanye stayed around to also perform “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1” and “Famous” from his “The Life of Pablo” album.
“For seven years y’all had to argue on my behalf and I just wanna say I’m so glad my wife has Snapchat because now ya’ll can know the truth and can’t nobody talk shit about Ye no more,” he told the crowd.
Drake then told the audience to thank Kanye for flying out to Chicago just for the concert before the two friends hugged it out. After the show they were joined by retired NBA player Scottie Pippen at a club in the city.
